Veterans Appreciation Night at the Texas Rangers: September 28, 2017
Heart of the House Hospitality was honored to partner with the Texas Rangers  on Sept. 28th to recognize the courageous men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces for the 6th annual Veterans Night in Arlington, TX. It was an exciting time to recognize our veterans and watch Medal of Honor Receipt, Colonel Doc Ballard, throw out the first pitch of the game. Along with him Heart of the House’s VP of Client Services/Chairman for Vets with Rangers and veteran, Andy Wimpee, and Al DeBerry, CEO for the Dallas Hotel Association, recognized veterans: David Whitley, Blake Calvert, Clarence Boston, Jim Palmersheim, and Randy Stillinger.

International Housekeeping Week: September 10-16, 2017

Along with our clients, Heart of the House Hospitality spent a full week dedicated to the recognition of our excellent housekeeping staff. Heart of the House Hospitality Foundation Education Scholarship: August 21, 2017
We are pleased to announce the Heart of the House Foundation’s 2017 Education Scholarship recipients, Katia Lima-Lopez and Diana  Lima-Lopez. This is the foundation’s first annual scholarship since its establishment in 2017. The foundation’s primary initiatives are to support employees and communities through organizations that promote: safety, family, and education.  The education grant provides $3,000 in academic scholarship to two outstanding women who are currently pursuing their college degrees and embody the Heart of the House Hospitality motto to Make a Difference.

Diana and Katia are the daughters of proud parents, Cristina Lopez and Javier Lima.  Katia is in her senior year at Dominican University of Chicago and is studying Computer Science and Philosophy. Diana is a sophomore at Eastern Connecticut University and is studying Biology and Bioinformatics.
