The Heart of the House Dallas Team, joined by VP of Operations Kenia Gonzales, Regional Director Gina Azer, and National Projects and Support Teams, celebrated the grand opening of their new office.
Dallas now joins the growing list of new Heart of the House offices opened this year.
Training Focused
As showcased at their flagship office in Louisville, KY, the new spaces emphasize live-training environments for housekeeping and food and beverage. Heart of the House can now provide hands-on training to every associate right at the office.
Housekeepers practice cleaning and prepping a replicated guest room while expert trainers guide them, evaluate their progress, and test their skills. Banquet servers and bussers do the same in a banquet training space.
“Thanks to our new training facilities, on-the-job training happens before associates are actually on-the-job,” says Heart of the House Dallas District Manager, Andres Egas. “When associates arrive at a property, they are trained, confident, and ready to hit our clients’ KPI’s in housekeeping or food service.”
A New Hub for Hospitality Talent in Dallas
Training is not the only benefit of the new office, Dallas Market Manager, Joshua Garcia explains, “Hiring skilled and experienced hospitality talent has become harder and harder for General Managers, who already have a ton on their plate. Heart of the House makes hiring easier for them. We take care of recruiting, screening, training, and onboarding. We understand their needs, and being Dallas natives, we know the market and how to find the best people. Clients can think of our office as their dedicated hospitality talent hub.”
