Supervisors are heavily involved in day-to-day operations, planning, scheduling, and employee management, and, along with the rest of Heart of the House staff, are essential to a smooth-running operation and are looked upon as being part of the hotel family.
It’s a company that treats us very well and they are very respectful, they are always very attentive of our needs. There is great camaraderie along our co-workers and there are opportunities for growth. I have no complaints; I am very grateful to work with you all.

Heart of House and Paulina Echavarri were both vital to the success of our hotel operations in 2020. Paulina was always responsive to our requests for additional employees, and she held her employees accountable for both their attendance and work performance. The Heart of House employees have been exceptionally hardworking and were always mindful of the added challenges that the hotel industry faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2018, prior to the start of Heart of the House, we finished the year 4.8 points lower than the brand average in our cleanliness of rooms scores. In 2019, two months after Heart of the House started with us, our scores jumped 10 points. In 2020, we finished the year 3.3 points above brand average…contacting Heart of the House was one of the best decisions I could have made for this hotel.
