Appreciation Day at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center

Heart of the House housekeeping team for Gaylord Opryland Resort

Exceptional housekeeping goes beyond the routine tasks of cleaning and preparing rooms. It takes teamwork and a passion for making guests feel special. At Heart of the House Nashville, the team of dedicated associates serving the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center understands this.

The Gaylord Opryland Resort is known for delivering a one-of-kind experience to its guests. This calls for a one-of-a kind staffing solution, which the popular Nashville destination relies on Heart of the House to provide.

Their housekeeping team spans three departments, Public Space, Housekeeping and Quality Assurance.  United, they work tirelessly to maintain the resort’s cleanliness, ensuring that guests have an impeccable and memorable stay.

But Heart of the House’s partnership with Gaylord Opryland didn’t happen overnight, explains Rafaela Schwaner, Nashville Market Manager for Heart of the House.

“A year and half ago we had one Heart of the House associate working here. That’s about as small a team as you can get,” she says smiling. “But it only takes one of our associates for clients to experience what Heart the House is about, and how our people-first approach to talent makes a difference in guest satisfaction. Today, we manage multiple departments for Opryland with on-site supervisors who oversee 115 associates.”

In recognition of their hard work, Heart of the House organized a Gaylord Hospitality Appreciation Day, where the staff were treated to a day of food, festivities, and fun.

“Our associates take pride in what they do and genuinely care about the guests, which is evident in the quality of their work,” says Heart of the House Account Manager, Hayver Patino. “We are thrilled to celebrate and appreciate them with a day of fun and recognition!”

Rafaela Schwaner adds, “That makes Appreciation Day even more special. We’ve been able to watch our team grow, see them make new friends, and enjoy their work at one of the country’s best resorts and convention centers. The Gaylord Opreyland Resort and Convention Center has been an amazing partner and a pleasure to work with.”
