Heart of the House Opens Hospitality Staffing Hub in Baltimore

Heart of the House Baltimore Team

As an award-winning hospitality staffing leader, Heart of the House continues to set high standards. Following their Best of Staffing Award win, they’re excited to announce the opening of a new hospitality recruiting and training office in Baltimore, designed to enhance service quality and meet the industry’s growing demands.

Martha Molina, Baltimore Market Manager, expressed her enthusiasm: “We’re not only providing excellent hotel and F&B staff to the Baltimore area, but we’re also pioneers in recruitment and training.”

Molina continued, “Our hotel and event clients depend on us to keep their teams fully staffed all year long, especially during peak times when they might need to hire hundreds of new employees quickly. Our new center helps us recruit and onboard people faster, drawing more local talent and better supporting our clients in hospitality.”

A Space Set On Solving Hospitality Staffing Challenges

In February, the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) reported that 67% of hotels are facing staffing shortages. To tackle this issue, Heart of the House designed their new facility to expedite the recruitment and training process.

The Baltimore location has stations where candidates can immediately apply for jobs in housekeeping and food service. Right next to these stations is a training room where new hires learn about safety and job skills.

Wilson Correa, East Regional Director, detailed, “Our center includes a full training and evaluation area. We assess and train every team member, no matter their previous experience. When they start at a client’s site, they’re ready to positively influence guest satisfaction.”
