The Safety First Spotlight: Marty Scott, Market Manager

Today, we’re shining the Safety First Spotlight on Marty Scott, Lexington, Kentucky Market Manager and Trust Ambassador for Heart of the House.

Marty was nominated by Regional Director, Kenia Gonzalez, for leading our Lexington Hospitality Team in the pursuit of COVID-19 safety. During a recent client property audit in Lexington, Heart of the House was the only staffing partner, out of three agencies, to receive a perfect score of 100 for following COVID-19 protocols. We are so proud of Marty and his team!

How long have you worked for Heart of the House?

I have worked at Heart of the House for 1 year and 3 very happy months.

What is your favorite thing about working at Heart of the House?

My favorite part of the job is being able to assist families in helping them find work and seeing them succeed in their respective positions.

What do you love most about supporting the hospitality industry?

I would have to say developing and maintaining professional relationships along with the cultural diversity that comes with meeting people from different parts of the world.

How are you helping our hospitality associates and clients?

I help both our clients and associates by recruiting experienced, professional, and responsible personnel who take pride in their work. This allows our clients to focus on their guests’ needs.

What does People First | Safety First mean to you?

People First I Safely First to me, especially during these times, means that being attentive to even the smallest of details regarding sanitation can make an enormous difference and even save lives! At Heart of the House, we go out of our way to make sure our associates remain safe and retain safe working environments.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Always follow up with potential clients, whether it be via e-mail, an in-person visit, or simply a call. You never know, they may have been waiting on you this entire time.
