Today, we’re shining the Safety First Spotlight on Minerva De Leon, Laundry Services Associate for the Heart of the House Detroit Team. Minerva is an experienced laundry attendant, and she is helping us support medical facilities by keeping their linens clean.
Minerva is hardworking and passionate about client service. She always goes above and beyond for her team and is dedicated to working safely. We are proud to have her as part of the Heart of the House family!
How long have you worked for Heart of the House?
I have been with Heart of the House for a little over a year now.
What is your favorite thing about working at Heart of the House?
My favorite thing about working at Heart of the house is the support and care given and shown to us when we need it the most
What do you love most about supporting the hospitality and healthcare industries?
I love the teamwork, it’s not just one person that gets the task done but knowing we have to depend on each other.
How has Heart of the House COVID-19 Safety Training helped you?
Covid-19 Safety has helped me be more aware of my surroundings. Working at the laundry facility PPE was already a requirement.
What do you enjoy most about being a laundry services associate?
I enjoy working with my team and they feel more like family.
